Amazing stay in the heart of Bayeux!

I really loved my time here. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the tapestry and loads of cute shops. The staff are super friendly-thanks for all the tips on where to eat! Breakfast was awesome, with fresh pastries every morning. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger sometimes.

Peaceful and convenient location just close to Overlordtour. A wide array of food options just a short walk away from the venue. Brand-new and stylish rooms with remarkable views of the cathedral. A wide array of goodies for breakfast.

Great and fantastic location on a very quiet square, wonderful breakfast. For shots visit Le Garde Manger, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel...

The shower was very nice, spacious enough for a party! The breakfast also dazzled with freshly baked croissants! Just a bit pricey compared to other options. A fantastic stay 😊

Very friendly reception staff. The room is in good quality and good design. It is easy to walk around this small town, and with beautiful scene, and it is facing the church. We even got upgrade to a junior suite. The breakfast is excellent. Thank you.

This boutique hotel offers a lovely atmosphere and is well-situated near attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive, though the lack of an on-site restaurant was a slight drawback. The stay was enjoyable, with good breakfasts and a cozy bar for relaxation.

Everything! We stayed at the hotel briefly in September and were overwhelmed by the ambience of the hotel as well as the service, knowledge and courtesy of the staff. The hotel is positioned centrally in Bayeux and has a secure car park. The Bayeux Tapestry Museum is a stone's throw away, the cathedral is within easy walking distance as are all the shops and restaurants. When we returned recently for four days we were delighted to be able to book in at The Villa Lara. Anyone looking for a stylish, boutique hotel which combines the latter with old fashioned charm and care should choose this hotel.

the wifi signal was a bit spotty. but the staff were super friendly, always greeting us with smiles. and the breakfast had delicious fresh pastries. we also loved the cozy bar for evening drinks.

The location is excellent with a fine cathedral view from the room. Staff members are attentive and responsive to all our needs. The courtyard was wonderful. I also enjoyed the nearby bakeries that offered fresh pastries and coffee, all within a short walk.

The buffet breakfast felt a bit expensive for what was offered.

Very tasty and enjoyable breakfast with a great view and custom omelets and fresh breads, competent personnel. The rooms with view of the garden.

The location was why I chose it. The hotel was better than I expected - modern but with a French twist. The only criticism is that it had no restaurant in the evening. Room service was limited. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very comfortable.

Lack of evening restaurant. The choice in Bayeux is not great!!!
